2017 HBASC Legislative Review

The Government Affairs office follows numerous issues that affect new home construction in South Carolina. Our intent is to keep our members aware of the actions of the General Assembly in an effort to ensure that our industry – and our members – has a level and fair playing field. We must pay close attention to fee increases, growth controls, impact fees, frivolous and abusive lawsuits, and unwarranted environmental regulations.
